As a cloud computing provider, we’ve leveraged our decades of combined experience to create innovative next generation cloud computing platform that provides full service big data solutions.
Tom Mabey is the CEO and key founder of Eclipse Tech.
Tom has over 40 years of successful, serial-entrepreneur experience in both engineering and construction. Before being named CEO of Eclipse Tech in February of 2018, Tom spent the previous 38 years founding other companies including The Consortium (Engineering consulting), and Sahara, Inc. (Commercial Construction), where he was President and CEO. Tom’s passion for innovation, teamwork and quality of service fuels his strategic direction for the company. Tom also serves his community by participating in a number of charities including: SaharaCares, Utah Fast Pass, World Bicycle Relief, and The Power of Choice. Outside of the office Tom is an avid auto racer. He raced on the professional and amateur racing circuits in the US and Europe from 1990 to 2009. In his free time, Tom enjoys cycling, flying planes and helicopters, mountain climbing, and playing with his grandkids.
Larry Cox is the COO and co-founder of Eclipse Tech.
Larry comes from the national defense and intelligence communities where he was a government intelligence officer. Larry helped to build spacecraft and ground systems at GE Aerospace, served on the U.S. House Intelligence Committee Staff, and as Vice President at Sarnoff Labs. Larry was also President of Sygenex (high technology sensing and computing–sold to Lockheed Martin) and later, Senior Vice President at SAIC (Science Applications International Corporation), where he helped to build an $800M cybersecurity business.
Ben Campbell is the CTO of Eclipse Tech.
Ben has more than 20 years of experience as a software engineer in computer networking and cyber security. He has been a developer for companies such as: Lockheed Martin, SAIC, and most recently, LookingGlass Cyber Solutions. Ben has extensive experience in biometrics, developing test harnesses, and writing low level networking code for high speed network security devices. Ben also brings a key set of skills with his experience and understanding of virtualization and cloud architectures. In his spare time, Ben is an outdoor enthusiast, and loves rock-crawling in his jeep, backpacking, playing his guitar, and spending time with his wife and 3 children.
Kurt Walker is the VP of Growth of Eclipse Tech.
Kurt brings 25 years of success in revenue leadership including sales, partnerships & business development, marketing, customer success, GTM strategy and product-market fit. With experience all the way from analog industries, focusing on custom manufacturing (commercial printing), to digital/cloud industries in high-level SaaS sales, he brings a unique & varied perspective to Eclipse Tech. Kurt is passionate about providing opportunity and access where there may not have been any. Kurt spent 10 years working in Edtech, and working with non-profits like Pluralsight One, CTA Apprenticeship Coalition, and Code to Success. Kurt is a certified yoga instructor who enjoys dry humor & dad jokes, reading, trail running, triathlons, rock-climbing, golf, and pretty much any activity that involves his family.
Dennis Likes is the VP of Engineering of Eclipse Tech.
Dennis specializes in developing leading edge high-technology concepts and systems for commercial and governmental applications. Dennis has had many senior management roles with Defense contractors, such as, Lockheed Martin, TRW, Nichols Research, and SAIC including research and development of multiple solutions related to security, information collection, and information dissemination. Dennis enjoys serving his neighbors and extended family. His hobbies include motorcycles, golf, genealogy, and having family activities.
Jeff Olm is the Director of Cloud Solutions of Eclipse Tech.
Jeff has over 35 years of experience in editorial, color correction, VFX, virtual, and augmented reality. He has worked on over 100 films and numerous award-winning productions including: Titanic, Guardians of the Galaxy, The Fifth Element, Avengers, Spiderman, Harry Potter, and Armageddon. Jeff has worked as part of the creative, production, and post-production teams for numerous companies including: Disney, Dreamworks Animation, Marvel, Sony, Warner Bros., Digital Domain, Universal, and New Line. Jeff has also worked on virtual reality projects for the NFL, NBA, and MLB. He is an expert at creating workflows for media projects. Jeff also worked for Autodesk and was part of Flame, Smoke, and Lustre product launches. He has lectured for universities all over the world speaking about post-production and virtual reality. Jeff’s hobbies include taking care of the animals on his Wisconsin farm, mentoring up-and-coming filmmakers, directing and editing his own projects, and playing with his grandbaby.
Marketing & Sales Advisor
Perry Whan has a stellar technology sales and marketing background having been an important player in the growth and later acquisition of Meraki by Cisco and currently is Director of Corporate Sales East and North Central US for Okta. At Okta, Perry was involved in the growth of the company and subsequent successful IPO. Perry received his bachelor’s degree in Management from Purdue University. He later received both a Doctor of Jurisprudence (J.D.) and an MBA from Indiana University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. Perry is licensed to practice law but has always preferred working in technology sales. As a member of the Eclipse Tech Advisory Board Perry has been invaluable in advising on sales and marketing strategies. In his spare time, Perry runs half-marathons and loves spending time with his wife and family in Illinois.
Business Strategy Advisor
Danny Ashworth is a seasoned technology entrepreneur who successfully co-founded and sold Bluehost.com, Hostmonster.com and Fastdomain.com which hosted 2% of the internet at the time of the sale. Danny also started one of the first SEO companies in 1997 and has owned and co-founded companies in the Search Engine Optimization industry including SoloSEO and RealEstatePromoter.com. He also uses his time and expertise to mentor and advise a number of technology companies, including Eclipse Tech. Danny brings with him many years of experience in the technology space where he was involved with start-up challenges, organizational planning, sales and marketing, and growth strategies. Danny graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Brigham Young University. Danny’s hobbies include spending time with his family, golf, wakeboarding, travelling, and cars (especially the “family” 1965 Corvette).
